Pastor's Biography

Pastor Gregory L. Urquhart, born September 6, 1970, is a native of Norfolk , VA. Born of Christian parents, he is a devoted Christian activist concentrating his efforts advocating on behalf of the poor and needy people of the local community. He is has served his country in the US Army for over twenty-three years and has numerous prestigious awards for his dedicated service, and retired from Active Duty Army March 2013 while assigned at Fort Hood, TX. He is a graduate of ITT Technical Institute where he earned his A.A. in Computer programing, and has his B.A. in Interdisciplinary Studies with Cognants in Religion and Business from Liberty University.

Pastor Urquhart served as the youth pastor before he preached his first sermon, entitled " Those Who Thirsts For Christ", in April 2009, under the pastorate of the late Bishop Victor Gordon Sr, the Sr. Pastor and founder of True Worship Temple of Holiness. Bishop Gordon later licensed Gregory to preach in March 2010 and ordained him as Pastor in March 2011. Pastor Urquhart is also a Covenant Kingdom Keepers of Bishop K. W. Brown of Mount Lebanon Baptist Church located in Chesapeake Virginia.

Over the past six years Pastor Urquhart has been a leader in his community. He speaks to wounded Soldiers and Soldiers suffering with PTSD, feeding the homeless , and the founder of the Central Texas Adopt-A- Family Program. Pastor Urquhart is also been an volunteer Chaplain a Seton Hospital located on Harker Heights TX.

Pastor Urquhart has been married for 15 years to his lovely wife Dahlen, and they are the proud parents of four lovely daughters, and one beautiful granddaughter. Pastor Urquhart is the Sr. Pastor and founder of New Beginnings Christian Church located in Killeen Texas.
